We’ve just added a pretty neat destination – If you drag a file or image onto it, it immediately prints it to your default printer.
You can also drag multiple files onto it – e.g. if I want to print a bunch of text files or PDFs I just drag them onto the Print destination and they’re sent to the printer.
And it’s 3 lines of code. No joke. Download here.

This works – but I was really hoping to use it to “print to PDF”. There should be an option for you to select what printer to use (I don’t want PDF to be my default printer).
Anyone out there – if you are listening – please build a PDF option!

Just an idea to improve this feature:
What about dropping an url from safari an automatically print it to a pdf-file and save it to documents. I hate to save webpages and having to click through 3-4 menus from the print-dialog.
I would really like to see a Dropzone that will “print to PDF,” including one for saving Safari pages or adding to Yep.
Is there anyone working on such an implementation?
What I would like to be able to do is to select text and drag that to print. For instance, grab text out of email or off a web page for printing.
